Well in light of the deadly train wreck at Burlington over the weekend things along the rails here has been slow. Trains Monday were few and far between.I think I only heard maybe one train through here all of Sunday night. Monday was not much different.
I have been in town for the week and thought after taking my Dad to the doctor I would go out Tuesday and see what was coming and going.I managed to capture 3 or 4 during the afternoon.I went over to the station as it is not far where I am doing my job.
I lucked in with 3 within an hour of each other and a couple more later on that afternoon.

First was VIA number 902 in from Toronto.

Next along was CN Intermodal number 5721 coming from the east.

Next along from the east was VIA Rail 61--6427

Next in was number 44 from Toronto.

Number 905 was heading up this train.

Well its been a little slack lately and this day was absolutely beautiful for getting out and snapping a few more photos. It had snowed the night before so I wanted to get some shots of the snow and the rails.
I was pretty lucky to start out the day not to cold just good enough to stand for a while the spot I was at, at the crossing has an electrical equipment box, so I was able to stand behind it sheltered from the wind.It was nice and warm actually once behind the box as long as you stayed in the sun.
This is one of my favorite spots to shoot trains as they are going at a fair clip through this area.It is at mile marker 193 on the Kingston sub near Morvin Ontario off highway number 2 in the summer time I am able to set up a lawn chair and away I go for the day. Anyhow this day was very productive as far as trains go. Well here is what the day produced:
